Trail Blazers 5050 Raffle: Report from the Field
What a season it has been! Thanks to a partnership with the Portland Trail Blazers and a lot of elbow grease and shoe leather from our volunteers, the Community Cycling Center has proven a go-getting machine for three 5050 Raffles to date. To wit: Our last Trail Blazers game was a huge success. Not only did the Trail Blazers defeat the Timberwolves, but volunteers sold over $7000 in raffle tickets in just three hours!
Sixty-two volunteers have donated over 250 hours of their collective time with us so far this season and have helped us raise nearly $10,000 for our programs!
You can still join us for a game! There’s still time! Help us make this a reality again on Monday, April 10th. We need about 8 more volunteers for this social, high energy event. We sell raffle tickets through halftime, then volunteers are welcome to watch the rest of the game against the San Antonio Spurs.
