About the Community Cycling Center
We believe that a bicycle is a tool for empowerment and a vehicle for change. The Community Cycling Center is a 501(c) 3 that broadens access to bicycling and its benefits through our hands-on programs, volunteer projects, and neighborhood shop.
The Community Cycling Center is an energetic workplace with a collaborative style. Visit www.CommunityCyclingCenter.org for more information about us.
General Position Summary
Our Volunteer Program is the life-blood of the organization. In 2007, over 1,600 people gave more than 11,000 hours of their time to the Community Cycling Center. Volunteers recycle bicycles; collect, clean and refurbish bikes for the Holiday Bike Drive; and support all programs, classes and clinics.
This year, we have made changes to the Volunteer Program in order to expand opportunities and offer these great volunteer positions to interested supporters. We’ve created an updated Volunteer Application in order to understand the interests and skills of people who would like to help us. We need one volunteer to help improve an Access database and then enter the volunteer application information.
