General Position Summary
The Community Cycling Center accepts donated bikes to benefit our programs benefiting low-income children and adults. As bike donors come to our store, we accept their bike and provide them with donation receipts and information about our shop. Bike donors are the life-blood of our organization and we are looking for a volunteer to greet, work with and thank these supporters.
The Bike Donation Volunteer will work with our retail staff to work with bike donors and process donated bikes. This position is 75% customer service and 25% light mechanic work. This is an entry-level position, so we will teach you about all steps of the bike donation process.

- Greet bike donors as they enter the shop
- Answer questions about our organization and how we use donated bikes
- Fill out all necessary paper work for the donor and the organization
- Thank all donors for their support (most important part of the job!)

- Move bikes to necessary location, including the basement
Skills
- Good customer service experience
- Enthusiasm for the Community Cycling Center’s mission
- Comfortability using tools
- Ability to lift 40lbs and perform physically demanding work, including carrying bicycles up and down stairs
