Do you have any special skills that you would like to share with the Community Cycling Center? We would love to have your help. Volunteers support our work in so many ways, assisting with our Bike Clubs and Create a Commuter workshops, designing publications, helping with data entry and more.

Bike Collector

Connect with your neighbors, coworkers and community while helping us provide more people with a healthy way to get around! Every year, we receive over 2,000 donated bicycles from our generosity community of supporters, and many of these bicycles come from supporter-run bike collections. Alberta Street Fair

This year’s Alberta Street Fair is also a benefit for the Community Cycling Center! On Sunday, August 22nd, Alberta Street will be closed to traffic and filled with local vendors, live music, a parade and more. Another Happy Get Lit Recipient

Get Lit Outreach

Light up the streets of Portland with Get Lit, our innovative bike safety promotion program. On busy bike thoroughfares throughout the city, we set up and perform random acts of safety, installing Planet Bike front and rear lights for free on unsuspecting (and unlit) cyclists. We are looking for outgoing volunteers to help us deliver this amazing program to the public. For more info . . .
