Adult Earn-A-Bike Program

Adult Earn-A-Bike Program
The Community Cycling Center’s Adult Earn-A-Bike Program (Create-a-Commuter) provides low-income adults with fully-outfitted commuter bicycles and five hours of training on safe bicycle commuting. Federally funded initially through the Job Access Initiative, it is the first program of its kind in the nation. The program provides a flexible option to meet the transportation needs of low-income adults.

As of January 14, 2008 we are no longer accepting online referrals. Our workshops for February, March and April 2008 are full.  In the fall of 2008 we will transition to a community partner-centered model of workshops.  The community partner models will allow us to simplify the registration process and improve our capacity to support clients.  If you have any questions about these changes, please contact mary@communitycyclingcenter.org.

If you work for an agency that may be interested in hosting a workshop on-site and are willing to actively support clients who participate in the earn-a-bike workshop, contact mary@communitycyclingcenter.org.
