Bike Camp
2013 Bike Camp Registration is now open!
Bike Camp is more than just riding a bike – it’s about the empowerment and independence kids feel from a summer adventure on two wheels. Campers will gain confidence, knowledge, and skills in a safe, creative and supportive team environment. Campers come home each day with a smile on their face, exhausted from a day of adventures.
Activities focus on developing safe riding techniques, mechanical skills, and road knowledge through hands-on experience. At Bike Camp, kids will have a blast spending quality time outdoors with new friends.
Location: Each day begins and ends at the Community Cycling Center bike shop at 1700 NE Alberta St.
Hours: 9am – 3pm
Cost: $290 per week (exceptions for specialty camps). Price includes a Community Cycling Center T-shirt, bike accessory, and a delicious, bicycle-delivered Popsicle on Fridays. Online registration begins February 1st, 2013.
Bicycle Safety Inspection Form: Prior to the start of Bike Camp, all bicycles must be inspected by a professional mechanic and must have a completed Bicycle Safety Inspection Form (available on February 1st). There is a $25 late fee for any bicycles that have not been inspected by the first day of camp.
