I ride – We ride! Join us for an I ride tour on June 16th
If you’ve biked around North and Northeast Portland in recent weeks, you may have already seen our “I ride” TriMet bus bench campaign. The campaign features many of our program participants who are champions and role models that have been working hard to promote bicycling in their neighborhoods. With summer upon us and the city-wide celebration of cycling, Pedalpalooza, happening this month, we want to share this campaign with you, live and in-person.
On Thursday, June 16th at 5:30pm meet us at our neighborhood bike shop at NE 17th and Alberta for a biking tour of the I Ride benches. We’ll ride approximately 10 miles through NE and North Portland to the Village Market in New Columbia, where we’ll meet up with some of our community partners. At the end of the ride you’ll have the opportunity to pose for your own I ride portrait and tell us why you love to ride. We aim to be back at the bike shop by 8pm. Please bring your bike and your helmet! This is an all ages family friendly ride, open to anyone who can ride 10-15 miles.
