Check Us Out in the 2007 Give!Guide
The Community Cycling Center has been selected by the Willamette Week for inclusion in the 2007 Give!Guide, a holiday season fundraiser that generates donations for a collection of Portland area non-profit organizations.
The Give!Guide also features recipients of the Skidmore Prize – outstanding young adults who are being honored for their contribution to Portland area non-profit organizations. Neal Armstrong, the Community Cycling Center’s Volunteer & Event Manager is a Skidmore Prize winner this year. In 2006 alone, Neal organized more than 2,000 volunteers to dedicate 16,500 hours to collect, refurbish, and distribute 2,000 bikes to low-income youth and adults! Learn more when you pick up your copy of the Give!Guide, available in the most recent issue of Willamette Week.Â
If you are considering a gift to the Community Cycling Center, think about donating through the Willamette Week’s Give!Guide. We receive 100% of the donation and we can receive matching amounts. Gifts of $250 or $500 will result in special delivery of wine, coffee, and other goodies to your home. A gift of $1,000 or more will result in a delivery by one of the Willamette Week’s two owners!
